Effective April 6, 2010, the UK Border Agency raised fees for immigration applications, including those for visa and resident permit applications, following Parliaments recent approval of the UK Border Agencys proposed 2010-2011 fee tables. The fee for employer-sponsored Certificates of Sponsorship under Tier 2 of the Points Based System will remain the same, but most other fees will increase by ten percent.
