Canada is tightening requirements for several of its permanent residence programs. There is now an annual cap of 20,000 applications for the Federal Skilled Workers program and a new language proficiency documentation requirement for the Federal Skilled Workers and the Canadian Experience Class programs. In addition, investment requirements for the Federal Investor Program may double later this year if a new proposal takes effect.
