Luxembourgish cuisine

Eating the local food is one of the most important ways to experience a new culture and Luxembourg has a lot to offer. Its cuisine has been influenced by neighbouring France and Germany, and more recently stimulated by the cuisines of its Italian and Portugese immigrants. Take advantage of what Luxembourg has to offer by way of fresh local ingredients like asparagus and helpful produce signs, and have fun with your kids in the kitchen. Have adventures in grocery shopping and enjoy discovering the little differences between food products in Luxembourg and elsewhere.

Eating out

Luxembourg boasts more Michelin star restaurants per capita than any other country in the world - great for impressing business associates at fancy business lunches and worth even making a detour into Luxembourg. If you're after something a little less upmarket, let blogger Libby guide you in ordering at McDonald's in Luxembourg. (Be warned: it's a whole different ball game to ordering in Germany, just across the border.)
